Francis P. Xavier SJ

Francis P Xavier SJ, is a member of the Jesuit Chennai Province, India. After his BSc and MSc in Physics in India, he did his PhD in Boston College (USA). He did his studies in Philosophy at Jnana Deepa Vidyapeeth (Pune) and Theology at Sankt Georgen (Germany). He has been a Professor of Physics at Loyola College (Chennai). He is the Founder-Director of Loyola Institute of Frontier Energy (LIFE) and Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET), both at Loyola College (Chennai). He was the Gasson Professor at Boston College; and the Vice President for Academic and Research (Jesuit Worldwide Learning), Geneva. He has conducted over 90 courses and workshops on Time Management for Jesuits in formation as well as for religious. He is a resource person on Religion and Science, Education, and Administration. He was the former Provincial of the Jesuits in Tamilnadu and at present he is the Rector of Loyola Institutions (Chennai).
